GFW Model Callbacks Wednesday

It’s time for round two.

The Gainesville Fashion Week is holding its model callbacks on Wednesday. One hundred of the casting call models will be asked to take it to the catwalk at Jolie Events from 7pm to 9pm.

The judging panel will include UF basketball player Patric Young and UF football player Clay Burton, as well as designer Jacquelyn Brooks, Devon Chestnut of Cox Communications, and INsite’s very own editor Maghan McDowell.

Models will have two chances to strut their stuff, this time with no coaching from the GFW team. For their second walk, models have the option to wear a bathing suit.

Gainesville Fashion Week kicked off its fifth season with the GFW Casting Call on January 22 at the Neutral7 design studio. GFW supports local design, music and business and provides an outlet for artists to showcase their talent. This season’s Fashion Week will be April 11-15.
