Prince Poppycock is Coming to Gainesville

Former “America’s Got Talent” finalist Prince Poppycock brings his musical mixture of opera and fantasy to Gainesville for a one night only headlining show.  The performance will be held at the Hippodrome on Friday, March 23 at 8pm.

Self-described as a “gallivanting little minx of a royal rapscallion,” the Prince blends liveliness with luxury in both performance and personality.

The Prince (a.k.a. John Quale) began studying music at a young age and his passion bringing him to a professional opera company at by age 11. Since then, he has been “…endlessly fascinated. The more I learn, the more I know just how much further I have to go.”

Placing in the finals in NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2010, the Prince has continued to develop his “baroque dandy” persona and share his fantasy with a whole new audience.

Never performing the same show twice, the Prince has prepared a particularly special performance for Gainesville, including a rare set of his own music while accompanying himself on the piano.

Prince Poppycock is ready to show Gainesville just how gallant he can be.
