Though the first half was scoreless, the Gators scored first in the second half at the 49th minute with a kick from McKenzie Barney. Four minutes later, Miami scored a goal and tied the game. The game went into overtime with neither team being able to score.

During the second overtime, freshman Taylor Travis (No. 49) made her first goal as a Gator to win the game. Her teammates rushed the field and piled on top of her. We really weren’t sure if she was going to make it out alive. During interviews, Travis said she felt "as high as a kite."

Admission is free for all regular season Gator soccer matches so come on out and support your Gators.
