Sorority RowSORORITY ROW
September 11; Thriller, rated R;  Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis

Taking heavy cues from I Know What You Did Last Summer, in this version, a group of sorority sisters plays a prank on the boyfriend of one of their friends, convincing him that the girl he was fooling around with died because of him. They take him out with the “body” to dispose of the evidence when the young man impales the girl with a tire iron. Now with a real corpse, the group decides to dump the body in an abandoned well and move on with their lives. Graduation is here, and along with all the partying, comes the evidence that someone knows what they did and wants revenge.

Jennifer's BodyJENNIFER'S BODY
September 18; Comedy/Horror, rated R; Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Simmons

From Juno writer Diablo Cody comes this horror flick with a sexy twist. Megan Fox plays the seductive, very popular head cheerleader who is hiding a small secret; she's possessed by a flesh-eating demon who loves to dine on the young boys of their town. Her devilish lie is discovered by a local nerdy girl, and the two form a strange, uneasy friendship as Fox tries to convert the girl, and the girl does everything she can to survive the ordeal. This looks to be a pretty entertaining film, containing a good dose of comedy, a splash of unrealistic, head-turning gore, and a very attractive main actress to tie it all together.

The Invention of LyingTHE INVENTION OF LYING
September 25; Romantic Comedy, rated PG-13; Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill

Welcome to a world where lying doesn't exist. Everyone, from politicians to complete strangers, tell each other the complete truth, with no thought of the consequences. Meanwhile, Mark is down on his luck until he comes up with an invention that changes everything. He calls it “lying,” and begins to tell everyone around him whatever he feels like, which skyrockets him to fame and fortune. Things seem to be going perfect for him, until the world begins to hang on every one of his false words, and he finds himself in the position of power he never wanted.

Shutter IslandSHUTTER ISLAND
October 2; Psychological Thriller; Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley

In this seemingly disturbing flick, Teddy Daniels and Chuck Aule are two U.S. Marshals who are sent to a remote and desolate island off of Massachusetts. Their assignment is to find clues into the mysterious disappearance of a murderess who has vanished from the fortress island that houses a slew of criminally insane people. With danger lurking around every corner, the two agents might be in over their heads, as they discover that the physicians might be more deranged than the patients they are treating.
