Megan Alfaro 24, Santa Fe College Graphic design student When did you start modeling? Last summer. What are you looking forward to most about spring? Gainesville Fashion Week. What do you like about this shoot? I love my hair and that I can recreate it at home. The makeup is fun and big and there are gorgeous jewels. What can’t you live without? Lotion and my cats. Do you have a hidden talent? I’m really good at video games. Are you excited about any trends for the spring? Prints and florals.

Meghan Van Joosten 22, University of Florida public relations student When did you start modeling? Since I was 13. What do you like about this shoot? That it is shot in black and white and the hair is fun and something I can do. What is your favorite thing to cook? Chicken and ham potpie, especially when I is cold out. What type of makeup do you want for the spring? Warm colors and light pink highlighter for my cheekbones. What do you like to do in Gainesville? Go to Cantina 101.

Kecia Johnson 25, University of Florida journalism grad student What did you like about this shoot? It is my first shoot, so I liked having my hair and makeup professionally done and working with people who are so good at what they do. What are you looking forward to in spring? It is a good time for color and I am excited to see colors in the stores. Do you have any talents? I was on track and cross-country at UF. Now I just run for fun. Favorite food? Italian. Favorite dessert? Strawberry shortcake. Perfect Valentine’s day date? Somewhere in a pretty city. Go for a ride through a nice park after dinner. What do you like to do in Gainesville? Go to UF sporting events and anything outdoors. Could you recreate your hair and makeup? No. I usually only wear eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss.

Addison Culler 19, University of Florida advertising student What was your favorite part about the shoot? I have blond extensions instead of highlights. Favorite designer? Marc Jacobs Favorite food? Sushi. Most looking forward to about spring? Warmer weather and brighter clothing. Best part of modeling? We are made up in so many different ways, like a blank canvas for makeup and hair. What can’t you live without? Juicy Couture knee-high socks. What place would you like to visit? I want to go to Italy for study abroad. Do you think you can recreate your makeup? I can practice and do it at home, except for the false eyelashes.
